报告简介:The IPCC fourth assessment report stated that “it is likely that there has been significant anthropogenic warming over the past 50 years averaged over each continent except Antarctica”, but the report did not provide significant evidence of human influence on hydrological cycle, an important component of climate system. After the release of the IPCC AR4 report, evidence emerges in several aspects related to hydrological cycle. Anthropogenic influence is now detected in global and high latitude precipitation, in surface humidity, in atmospheric moisture contents, and in regional hydrology regime in northwest United States. This presentation reviews these new findings along with theoretical understanding of how the hydrological cycle responds to anthropogenic warming.
